Two Bedroom House Sepi

This House has a master bedroom with dressing room and shower bathroom upstairs and a double or twin bedroom with a large open garden bathroom downstairs. The fabrics - specially designed batiks from East & Central Java, have interesting colour combinations of cream, chocolate and dark blue. There’s an ancient spirit tree in the garden that watches over the property!

DEDICATED TO: W. O. J. Nieuwenkamp, 1874 - 1950, one of the first foreign artists to live in Bali and the first to exhibit paintings of the island in Amsterdam. His atmospheric, beautiful sepia drawings and paintings show the island as it was at the turn of the 19th century, when he made his home in Singaraja, then Bali's main port and capital. The owner of one of the first bicycles on the island, he was immortalized in a carving of him on his bike on the wall of Pura Meduwe Karang temple, Kubutambahan near Singaraja!
